Dr. Manmohan Singh to stay silent after retirement

Prime Minister's Office (PMO) confirmed that Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will continue to maintain his silent even after his retirement. PMO's response came after a news was circulated saying Dr. Singh would give his last speech for 60 minutes on 17th May after his resignation.

"He is not interested to speak even after his resignation. However, he will come on the television screens to address the nation on 17th April. In his farewell speech, he will maintain 60 minutes silence," said PMO circular.

The sources at PMO confirmed that Dr. Singh will continue to maintain his silence at home as well and will talk to only Madam Soniaji whenever he wants to open his mouth.
